Concrete countertops.

Picture
the initial molds
Leigh and I had decided years before to do our own concrete countertops.  Having been intimately involved with putting literally thousands of yards of concrete into various holes in the ground and knowing a thing or two about mold making, I felt confident that we could pull it off.  We were both very happy with the results, and learned a few things in the process.  Now, two years later the countertops are aging beautifully.
