Heading back to Samamish today to finish replacing several caps on an old sunroom. It's not really the type of job I enjoy; sunrooms are difficult to work on. In some ways, I feel an obligation to help out, to lend my talents and expertise to a homeowner in need. After all, how many small independent, contractors are there out there with 15 years experience in sunroom and solarium installation and glazing techniques? Probably not a lot. Hopefully the next job will be closer to home, and not involve working on or around 30 year old glass.
All is well that ends well, and the job so far is looking good. I was able to install one cap yesterday and it fit perfectly and sealed up well. I pre-painted all the parts, so there's only a little bit of caulking to touch up on site at the end of the day.
Whatever your home improvement or repair needs (yes, even solaria, sigh) give us a call at 206.300.5891 or write to [email protected].
Have a great weekend!
