Hello out there! I plan to use this area as a means to keep anyone who might be interested up to date.on what all's going on around here. Right now that's mostly getting this site put together, developing the business plan, and researching all the details of starting up on one's own. At this point I plan to be fully licensed, and up to speed by the equinox. In advance of that big event I have a couple of jobs in the development stages, that may or may not pan out, but I feel that all the effort will be well spent as a training exercise for myself even if the jobs never materialize. It's given me a chance to play with and become somewhat proficient with Sketchup, and to have the opportunity to work through the bidding/ sales process.
Work here at home is proceeding as well. I've been working on a cabinet for our bathroom, though somewhat hampered by the weather. I'm really anxious to finish it, so that I can concentrate on the cabinets for our home office. These are going to be somewhat complex and challenging. I can't wait to start.
