This week saw completion of our latest kitchen remodel in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood. I have as few detail photos to share and will return to photograph the entire kitchen as soon as the homeowners are able to finish hanging the doors and installing the drawers in the existing mid-century birch cabinets that they have so lovingly refinished
The custom, hand carved drainboard turned out very well.
These grooves were cut into the stone and then polished to a honed finish to compliment the Absolute Black Satin stone slab. All stone and tile work was performed by our good friends at Quality Floors, LLC.
As always, Lea Howlett of High Roads Woodworks came through with excellent cabinets this time utilizing vintage plywood and new materials to match the existing cabinets to a "t".
One of the last details was to fabricate this stainless steel heat shield between the refrigerator and the new open burner range from American Range.
In this view you can see how tight the spacing is. The base cabinet to the left of the range is also new.
