Stair project continues. Bathroom remodel begins.

This week we continued working on the stair project on Samish Island, ably assisted by our good friend Steve Reimer.  We,\'re now down to about the halfway point, but may be slowed in our project for awhile as the winter weather closes in.  We'll be sure to get back before the spring comes as weather and schedules permit.  At the midpoint, we've framed a larger landing that will have room for a bench to take a rest on.

Wow. This is neat. Could you get far enough away to have a shot of the entire stairway? I can understand the need for a bench halfway up! What do they lead to? And where do they begin?

Hi, Jenn. Thanks for the comments. The stairs lead from the road above down to the beach. I haven't found any way to get back far enough to get a shot of the whole hillside.

Nice! How many steps? Looks like a good workout. Is this a private stairway or one that several families will use?

Hi Debbie,

I haven't stopped to count the steps yet. The stairs are on private property, and opinions about free passage vary from neighbor to neighbor (old timers on the island being pro, newer residents favoring more privacy)

There are many points that one need to consider while buying ready mix concrete. Read this entire article to get useful information on things to consider while ordering ready mix concrete and how using ready mix concrete can be beneficial for any construction project.

This, instead of providing a solution, adds up to the problem by confusing the residents because of the abundance of the options the city has - most of which are not so good.
